our resources with those of our clients…" Let's take
a closer look at the term strategic. We
use that word quite frequently in our business literature. In fact,
here we are labelling this section Strategic Services.
It is a rather colourful and strong-sounding word but what does
it mean? The dictionary defines strategic
- Have or relating to strategy.
- a. Important or essential in relation to a plan of action: a strategic withdrawal.
b. Essential to the effective conduct of war: strategic materials.
c. Highly important to an intended objective: The staff discussed strategic marketing factors.
- Intended to destroy the military potential of an enemy: strategic bombing.
The definitions could be thought of as being analogous to the operation
of a business. Businesses need people to compete in the marketplace;
however, some do not have the internal resources.
