Our client is a leading trading and manufacturer of energy-absorbing highway crash cushions, traffic measuring and sensing devices, intelligent intersection control systems, RWIS, highway advisory radio, integrated systems, flexible post delineators and many other transportation safety products and services.
The Job:
- Understand complex network design
- Lead customer pilot projects
- Lead lab tests prior to equipment deployment
- Conduct Customer presentations (technical & commercial)
- Maintain technical awareness among partners and customers
- Participate in the preparation of RFI/RFP responses
- Participate at public events (speaker)
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on project deployments
Required Skills:
- Large Scale Network design and troubleshooting experience
- A deep understanding of IP, routing and IP based services
- A deep understanding of Ethernet technologies
- Experience in OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP, QoS and other network protocols
- An uncompromised dedication to customer success
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Preferred Skills:
- UNIX Systems
- Fiber Optic communications (SM, MM, WDM, Connectors, etc)
- Other Broadband technologies (PON, Wimax, dsl, etc)
- VoIP, IPTV, Video over IP or other applications/services that are delivered over IP networks
- Network management (HP Openview, SMC, Netview etc) and/or other operational support systems
- Customer resource management systems (CRM), billing, and/or other BSS/OSS systems
