Our client is a UK-based software provider with offices in London, Nicosia, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. They have been providing innovative payment systems to the bankcard industry since 1989. Their products and solutions, including card issuance, merchant acquiring, authorisation, message switching, key and PIN management, e-commerce and fraud management, address every aspect of the card management business cycle. Today, more than 170 clients, including some of the world's largest banks, license their systems in more than 70 countries.
The Job:
- Maintaining various servers windows , Linux and SCO Unix
- Maintaining Windows and Lotus Notes networking services
- Performing hardware and Software upgrades when required
- Maintaining the assets database
- Maintaining the backup systems
- Assisting in various project work when required
- Providing technical user support on windows applications
- Maintaining Network hardware such as firewalls, hubs and switches and various types of cabling
- Troubleshooting hardware, networking and software problems
- Documenting new processes
The Person:
- Degree in Information Systems Management – Computer Networking or related subject
- At least 2 years experience in a network environment
- Knowledge of Lotus Notes and Active Directory
- Good understanding of TCP / IP and networking protocols and processes
- Proven team skills, logical thinking and ability to use own initiative
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in written Bahasa Malaysia and English
