Senior Human Resource Executive
Working Location : Klang Valley (Undisclosed)
Salary Range: From RM 4,500 to RM 6,000


Our client was established in 2014 and currently has 4 food & beverage (F&B) outlets dealing with Authentic Thai cuisine and Thai Street Food. Due to the rapid growth of their business over the past five years and the expansion of their business throughout the Klang Valley, they are looking for young and dynamic talents to join their exciting and growing team.

The Job:

  • To support the overall Human Resource division to deliver a comprehensive Human Resource operations and services to meet the business objectives.
  • Key person in-charge of the full-cycle of the recruitment needs of the F&B outlets and central office through hiring of local staffs and foreigners (operators). Ensure there is adequate manpower supply at each outlet.
  • To coordinate and arrange for staffs’ accommodation, assist to apply for business licenses, other related licenses, and foreign workers work permits.
  • To manage F&B employee relations matters especially on managing employees’ misconduct such as absenteeism, grievances, illnesses, taking disciplinary actions, etc. Also to measure employees’ satisfaction and identify areas that requires improvement.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director by providing ideas, strategies and solutions on all peoplerelated issues.
  • To handle Industrial Relations (IR) matters inclusive of any disciplinary/ grievance and Human Resource issues, using Human Resource and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
  • Involve in the performance management functions which include coaching managers from interviewing to employee on-boarding to setting measurable KPIs for the staff to tackle performance management issues and processes.
  • Recruitment and retention of employees which include managing talent and employee development by taking overall responsibility for recruitment activities and campaigns.
  • Policy and procedures implementation of new Human Resource policies, procedures and processes.
  • To develop Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with current employment laws. Also ensure line managers are kept up to date with changes to any policies.
  • In charge of the overall training and development needs of the employees. To manage, process and update Human Resource Development Funds (HRDF) and claims according to the statutory body.
  • Managing Human resource budgets.
  • Manage monthly payroll for all employees including the payment of EPF, Monthly Income Tax, SOCSO, EIS, etc. Also responsible for preparing employees’ Form EAs and related documents for year-end purpose and/ or employee income tax purpose.
  • To act with utmost discretion
  • Reports to the Managing Director.

The Person:
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource or equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience in Human Resource management
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of HR generalist experience and at least 2 years handling recruitment / IR matters.
  • Familiarity with personnel laws and regulations is required, that is, Employment Acts, Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, etc.
  • Preferably someone who has experience with the F&B industries
  • Strong organisational skills and people-oriented person.
  • Self-starter with initiative and resourceful, able to work independently.
  • Added advantage if you have payroll experience.
  • Must be willing to be on-call during out of office hours when need arises.
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality & willing to travel for business needs.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Work efficiently as business partnering and advisory roles.
  • Proven track record as both an individual contributor and active team player.
  • Confident in directing Human Resource and advising managers on all aspects of people management and employee development.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing employee transfers, terminations, redundancies and other relevant Human Resource projects
  • Possess a professional and commercial approach to Human Resource, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals.
